When a social worker attending one of our Enrich classes learned about our Hope programs, she asked for help with one of her clients – a young, pregnant woman struggling with substance abuse and family challenges, and considering abortion. Living in a town more than 60 miles away, the social worker went above and beyond to bring the pregnant woman into Qwa Qwa to meet Busisiwe in-person and learn about the support Ignite can provide. We’re praising God that the young woman has since begun recovery for herself and chosen life for her baby. She has also been reunited with her mother who also has a baby, and together they are receiving the support they need. Busisiwe will continue to mentor the family via phone calls, and the social worker offered to drive the moms to Qwa Qwa whenever an in-person visit is needed. What a blessing it is to come alongside women with loving hearts, listening ears and a wealth of pregnancy, health, and parenting resources. We thank God for their strength and for choosing life for their precious little ones!
